Brian May performs at We Will Rock You musical revival<\/h3>\n

The latest episode of Queen The Greatest Live continues the exploration of the band\u2019s iconic encores.<\/p>\n

For over 40 years the original foursome, through to the collaboration with Adam Lambert today, have concluded their shows spectacularly with a double-bill whammy of We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions.<\/p>\n

In the new video below, Queen\u2019s team have mashed together four epic 1980s concerts of Freddie Mercury and group performing We Will Rock You.<\/p>\n

Songwriter Brian May had always intended the track to involve audience participation with the ubiquitous stomp-stomp-clap to \u201cbring people together\u201d.<\/p>\n

The video includes the caption: \u201cAt the Milton Keynes Bowl in \u201982, the singer emerges from the wings in a traditional wide-brimmed hat to greet his countrymen. At Hungary\u2019s N\u00e9pstadion on the 1986 Magic Tour Freddie salutes the audience with its national white, red and green flag colours.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt 1985\u2019s Rock In Rio, he appears swaddled in the colours of the Brazilian flag with its famous motto Ordem e Progresso (\u2018Order and Progress\u2019), while most flamboyant of all, the singer slowly walks to the lip of the stage in Japan \u201985 \u2013 before spinning to reveal that the reverse of his Union Jack cape bears the crimson dot of the Hinomaru.\u201d<\/p>\n
